Ühinenud Kohtutäiturid works on the principle that information and applications related to enforcement proceedings must be available to everyone, regardless of ability, age or the technology they use.
We treat all parties to a proceeding equally. If a service is not usable for you in its online form, we provide the same service another way — by telephone, by e-mail, or in person at the office.
Accessibility is not a one-off project: we review and improve the website continuously and take user feedback into account.
Accessibility tools on this site
An accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of the page lets you adjust how the site is displayed:
increase the text and content size;
turn on high contrast;
reduce animation and motion;
always underline links.
Your choices are remembered on your device and applied on future visits.
Keyboard-only navigation
The website can be used with the keyboard alone, without a mouse.
Press the Tab key repeatedly to move between links and buttons — the element currently in focus is highlighted with a frame and a colour change. Press Shift + Tab to move back.
To activate an element (to “click” it), press Enter or the Space key.
Every page starts with a “Skip to main content” link so you can bypass the repeated menu.
Zooming in
Besides the site's own tool, you can enlarge the content in several ways:
in the browser — hold Ctrl (Cmd on macOS) and press + or −, or scroll the mouse wheel while holding Ctrl;
in your operating system — the Windows “Magnifier”, or the macOS zoom feature (System Settings → Accessibility → Zoom);
on a mobile device — the device settings let you increase the text size across all apps at once.
The page is designed so that the content stays readable at 200% zoom.
Using a screen reader
The content is built following screen-reader technical standards: images have text descriptions (alt text), headings are hierarchical, and the order of elements is logical so that the reading order makes sense.
Common screen readers you can use:
NVDA (Windows, free);
JAWS (Windows);
Narrator (built into Windows);
VoiceOver (built into macOS and iOS).
Accessibility statement
The Ühinenud Kohtutäiturid website taitur.net is built to meet the European Union accessibility directive and the EN 301 549 standard, together with the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.
The website is partially compliant with those requirements: the great majority of the content conforms, but shortcomings may remain in a few older documents and in third-party solutions.
Known shortcomings: some PDF documents added earlier are not machine-readable, and the text description of some auction images comes from the original source and may be incomplete. We are correcting these on an ongoing basis.
If you need a document in an accessible form, we will send it to you separately — please contact us as described below.
If you notice an accessibility problem, cannot reach some content, or need information in another form, please let us know through our contacts page or at your office's e-mail address.
Where possible, describe which page the problem occurred on and which assistive technology you use — that helps us find the fault faster.
We answer feedback within 30 days at the latest and tell you when and how the shortcoming will be resolved.
Supervisory authority
If you are not satisfied with our answer, or we have not replied to you within a reasonable time, you can turn to the supervisory authority.
